Dakota Staton - Ms. Soul (1974)

American jazz and R&B vocalist. Born June 3, 1932, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. Died April 10, 2007, New York City, New York, USA. 

She released several acclaimed albums in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Her biggest success came with 'The Late, Late Show' in 1957. For a time following her 1958 wedding to Talib Daawud, an Antiguan Muslim trumpeter, she was also known by her Muslim name, Aliyah Rabia. 

Ms. Soul is an album by American jazz vocalist Dakota Staton recorded in 1974 and released on the Groove Merchant label.

Trust - Bow Making (1984)

Trust, a band from Hamburg, recorded their second and last album “Bow Making” in 1984. It remains a great example of German Boogie with beautiful soul and latin vibes. The uplifting groove on “It’s Not Over” combines with melancholic touches in the vocals sung by keyboardist and composer Jan Clemens Moeller. Once you hear this song, you won’t get the catchy chorus out of your head for a while!
